The city of Yogyakarta, is geographically crossed by three major rivers, namely the Winongo River, Gajah Wong and Code. Winongo River has a length of 43.75 km which crosses the Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta City, and Bantul Regency. Of the total 43.75 km, around 18 km of river flow is in the western region of Jogja and passes through 6 Sub-districts and 11 Sub-districts. Public concern for the environment is still relatively low, this can be seen from the behavior of people who are still littering. So that waste becomes piling up and causes flooding.
