This research aims to know the relationship between the amount of FeClx added in the reaction and the morphology of Fe3O4/CNT nanocomposite which is the synthesis result using sonochemical method. The Fe3O4/CNT nanocomposite is synthesized from iron sand and functinalized CNT using sonochemical method with the variations of FeClx volume parameters are 10, 20, and 30 mL. The Fe3O4/CNT nanocomposite is then characterized using XRD, TEM, and VSM. The characterizing results using XRD for every variation of FeClx volume show that the diffraction peak appearing in the results are the characteristic of CNT and Fe3O4 with a little of α-Fe2O3.
