The study aims to understand religious coping in patients recovering from bipolar disorder. The informant in this research is ex-bipolar patient. Purposive sampling was used to recruit the informant in this study. The type of research is using a qualitative method with phenomenological design. The instrument for collecting data is observation and interview. The results of the study illustrate that the informants used four aspects of positive religious coping: benevolent religious reappraisal, it’s shown from the informant’s behaviour who never seek anger or reject the conditions.
