An innovative approach for thermal analysis and design of small satellites consisting in the study of its thermal behavior and properties from a global perspective is investigated in this research project. Spacecraft analysis and design is usually carried out in a tailored manner, based on the particular characteristics of each mission. The increasing interest in PocketQubes as space platforms, which share multiple design features, opens the possibility to develop general thermal control procedures applicable to multiple satellites independently of their payloads, configurations and orbits, within certain ranges.
