The thesis explored disordered eating and body dissatisfaction in adolescents with type 1 diabetes, rates for both were high with gender differences apparent. Qualitative research provided valuable insights into eating pathology within diabetes including triggers and daily impacts. These findings indicate routine screening and stepped care models may be beneficial
