HUBUNGAN ANTARA PENEGTAHUAN DENGAN KESIAPSIAGAAN BENCANA PADA MAHASISWA KEPERAWATAN UNIVERSITAS DIPONEGORO

Indonesia is a country that is prone to disasters. Disaster can occur every time and everywhere. Nursing students are prospective nurses who play a role in carrying out their responsibilities in every situation including disasters. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge and disaster preparedness to students. This research method was descriptive quantitative with a survey approach. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. Total respondents were 246 students from the Nursing Department at Diponegoro University. Data retrieval was done by distributing a questionnaire. Data analysis used the Chi-Square test. The results showed that the majority of students had a lower level of knowledge (52,8%) and had a lower level of disaster preparedness (70,3%).
