An Oriental fruit fly, Bactrocera dorsalis Hendel, is one of the most problematic tephritid fruit flies due to the severe damages caused to commercial fruits such as mango (Mangifera indica L.). However, the information on biology and ecology of this tephritid species particularly on mango variety is still lacking.
