DAMPAK RELOKASI PEMUKIMAN MASYARAKAT DARI BANTARAN ANAK SUNGAI BENGAWAN SOLO KELURAHAAN BALUN, KECAMATAN CEPU

Relocation is not only done in wild and slum settlements, but relocation was also carried out to street vendors or other programs from private companies that took over the rights to land ownership. Relocation is not same as eviction, because the society is moved to a place that is more livable and not abandoned by the government. This study aims to determine the socio-economic impacts of communities affected by relocation.To find out how the process and implementation of the relocation of settlements on the banks of the river, and several obstacles that occurred during the implementation of relocation.This research uses descriptive qualitative method with purposive sampling as the research technique.Determination of the subject or selected people must be in accordance with the specific criteria possessed,they are chosen because they are believed to be able to understand the problem and provide information that is appropriate and needed by the author. From the results of the analysis conducted it can be seen that the socio-economic impacts that affect the lives of the people affected by the relocation are still quite prosperous,because the government has provided a decent place for the society
