EKSPLORASI MUSHROOM DI LOKASI WISATA COBAN TALUN

Indonesia has very large forests. Tropical forests in Indonesia have a lot of biodiversity. There are many species of mushrooms that are not yet known and also their benefits. According to Gandjar, et al., (2006) an estimated 200,000 species of 1.5 million mushroom species in the world are found in Indonesia. Mushroom exploration is carried out as a support for knowledge about various types of mushrooms in the Coban Talun area. There are still not many researches on mushroom in Indonesia. Mushroom research in Batu still does not exist until now, it is thought to know more about the diversity of mushrooms in Batu, especially in Coban Talun. The purpose of this study was to determine the mushroom biodiversity and types of mushrooms found in Coban Talun. The method used in this research was Cruise method by tracking the research location, and taking mushroom samples from Coban Talun area. Mushroom which was found in each observation point was noted the characteristics include the morphological character. The observation variable was by determining the morphological character of the mushroom type and the diversity of types of mushrooms. Based on the results of the exploration there were 32 types of fungi found, 16 samples found could be isolated, namely by sample CT2, CT4, CT5, CT6, CT11, CT12, CT14, CT15, CT16, CT17, CT22, CT 24, CT 26, CT28, CT30 and CT32. At the location found 12 out of 16 Mushroom found in dead wood. Generally Mushroom found in its habitat in this wood which was attached to the substrate (Sessile) so that the mushroom was in the form of sheet. The diversity of mushroom species in Coban Talun was low with the dominant classification of orders is Polyporales
