The purpose of this study is to propose : (i) a new low thermal inertia mold concept for rapid manufacturing of high performance composite materials in order to meet industrial challenges, (ii) a new modeling approach for suitable thermomechanical optimizations based on the exploitation of an inexpensive finite element model. This approach relies on the three following tasks : (i) to develop a process for the convective coefficient estimation and for the thermoregulator modeling, both taking into account heating technological constrains (fluid nature, thermal power, thermal regulation, pump), (ii) to develop a thermomechanical optimization approach under stress, based on surrogate methods and optimization by genetic algorithm, (iii) to appr...
