Inside the Venetian city there are more than one hundred and ten churches, conventuals, monastic and parishes, thirty of which are closed. The use and its intensity defines the future of the buildings from time to time and it is often the significant reason for the architectural degradation and for the change of design and project of the city. On this occasion, three Venetian cases of closed churches are analysed, who narrate three different stories and allow the definition of three urban scenarios of the city of Venice.
