Ethical considerations in the professional of Psychology

En este trabajo se recogen algunas consideraciones relacionadas con la función de la ética en el comportamiento del psicólogo con relación a los valores de la sociedad y el proceso histórico cubano. La información se obtiene a partir de la revisión bibliográfica, en ella se aplican métodos de análisis y síntesis. Se reflexiona en torno a principios y normas morales que deben contemplarse en la actividad profesional del psicólogo, donde queda ilustrado la complejidad del trabajo de este profesional, que demanda otras características personales como: sencillez, modestia, tenacidad, capacidad de abnegación y elevados ideales morales. In this paper is presented some considerations related to the role of ethics in the behavior of the psychologist in relation to the values of society and the Cuban historical process. The information is obtained from the bibliographic revision, in which methods of analysis and synthesis are applied. It reflects on principles and moral norms that must be considered in the professional activity of the psychologist, which illustrates the complexity of the work of this professional, who demands other personal characteristics such as simplicity, modesty, tenacity, self-denial and high moral ideals
