Characterizations of pregnant teenagers that were admitted to the special perinatal care

Se realizó un estudio descriptivo, retroactivo y transversal con el objetivo de caracterizar las adolescentes embarazadas ingresadas en el Servicio de Cuidados Especiales Perinatales del Hospital General Docente “Dr. Agostinho Neto” de Guantánamo durante el año 2014. El universo estuvo constituido por 78 pacientes. Se analizaron las variables: grupo de edades, inicio de las relaciones sexuales, conocimiento de métodos anticonceptivos, utilización del tiempo libre y funcionabilidad familiar. El dato primario fue obtenido de las historias clínicas y entrevistas. Predominaron las adolescentes embarazadas entre 15-19 que iniciaron las relaciones sexuales en esos mismos años de vida, con parejas de sus mismas edades, incidieron las que no conocían poco acerca de métodos anticonceptivos, las que empleaban el tiempo libre en conversar con las amistades y con un entorno familiar severamente disfuncional.A descriptive, retrospective and cross-sectional study was conducted to characterize the pregnant teenagers that were admitted to the Perinatal Special Care at the General Teaching Hospital “Dr. Agostinho Neto” inGuantanamoduring 2014. The study group consisted of 78 patients. The variables analyzed age group, onset of sexual relations, knowledge of contraceptive methods, use of leisure time and family functionality. The primary data was obtained from medical records and interviews. Predominated pregnant teenagers aged 15-19 who initiated sex in those years, with partners of their same age, which influenced not know little about contraception, which used the free time to talk with friends and a severely dysfunctional family.
