This paper aims to show the relationships between Foucault’s and Kant’s analyses on Enlightenment. Moreover, this study tries to reveal contemporary philosophy’s ambivalent relation with reason, regarded, on the one hand, responsible for practices of domination, on the other hand, as the foundation of autonomy and liberty.
