The Slovak State Philharmonic Košice - The Performers of cello concerts

In this thesis, I present solo violoncello performers who collaborated with the Slovak State Philharmonic in Košice from its foundation to the present day. It contains overviews of all violoncellists who performed solo or as members of a chamber group. I have deliberately selected Slovak personalities and closer present their life and artistic work. A special chapter of the thesis presents first-run compositions for the violoncello and orchestra, from the work of Slovak composers. The last chapter of the thesis is a practical part with a research character. By means of a questionnaire, I studied how violoncello personas influence young cellists and students of conservatories in Košice
