The thesis focuses on the contacts between Czechoslovakia and the Soviet Union, specifically in the area of the 1930s fine arts. This topic has been mapped from 1930 to 1938 (before the Munich Agreement). The first part of the text deals with the historical-political background of that period and cultural relations between the two countries with emphasis on fine arts.
