The Prague Metro - phenomenon in the context of Czechoslovak history

6 Abstract The thesis deals with Prague metro as a social phenomenon in the history context of Czechoslovakia and Czech Republic in recent two centuries. The work focus on perception of Prague metro from the point of view of general contenporary history and well known public sources in comparison with perception of common people or different subcultures. It also informs about all valuable resources about Prague metro and subject these to continual critical evaluation. In order to make a full understanding of the context, there is also a short part about history of Prague metro. The empiric part is processed by analogical approach to Czech and Czechoslovak history as well as interpretation of the used interviews
