Forms of female criminality between 1918 and 1938. Example of towns: Třebíč, Jihlava, Pelhřimov

The main concern of the diploma thesis "Forms of female criminality between 1918 and 1938. Example of towns: Třebíč, Jihlava, Pelhřimov" are the crimes committed by women in the political districts Třebíč, Jihlava and Pelhřimov in the period of the first Czechoslovak Republic. In the theoretical part there is outlined the functioning of courts and the possible punishments for the committed crimes and offences in the first half of the 20th century, although for the sake of completeness, the judiciary in the second half of the 19th century is included as well. The crucial part of the work is a socio-professional analysis of the convicted women followed by a part about their most common crimes. The main sources comprise of the criminal records from the District Court in Třebíč, Jihlava and Pelhřimov
