The thesis deals of this bachelor´s work "Deutsche Dialekte in der Gegenwartssprache" is the comparison of the dialects of German language with the standard German language. The theoretical part describes the development, history and the basic division of the dialects. In the following part there will be the description of the development of the standard German language and their comparison. In the practical part is researched, how many young people in the Germany speak with the dialect. There is researched too, if the dialects, similarly to Latin, die out or not.
