PROCESS ANALYSIS AND OPTIMIZATION IN THE FIELD OF FACULTY OF ECONOMICS ON UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH BOHEMIA IN ČESKÉ BUDĚJOVICE

This bachelor thesis copes with process management and process optimization. The first chapters of the thesis describe process management and its comparison with the functional management of the company. Further, the bachelor thesis describes the process, its attributes, life cycle and explains the different types of process classification. The bachelor thesis copes with the modelling of the real process of admission proceedings at the university, in the practical part. It measures the process from the workload and duration point of view, by using the modelling tools and simulation techniques. The last part focuses on process optimization and makes suggestions for improvement
