Psychological aspects of chronic pain focusing on the personality of patients

This thesis deals with the psychological aspects of chronical pain with focusing on personality. The theoretical part is divided into two main domains. The first one is devoted to psychological aspects of chronic pain, what does chronic pain change in patients experiecing. Next domain is mainstay of the thesis that personality of patient involve perception of pain, and that different types of personality have different experience with chronic pain. After that will deal with researches of pain personality. Each chapter is designed to summarize the basic data of the subject and to present the current state of research in the given field. In the research proposal, a quantitative personality study will be created using the TCI inventory, which is the operationalization of the Cloninger model
