Preparation of the child of pre-school age for the first writing

This bachelor thesis is focused on preparation of preschool children for initial writing. The aim of this thesis is to find out whether and how children at nursery schools are being prepared for initial writing. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part describes the evolution and characteristics of a child before going to primary school. It also mentions the topic of school maturity and preparedness of a child, preparations for writing and introduction of graphomotor programs, which are helping the child to successfully manage future writing. In the practical part, the results of a qualitative survey, which was conducted in the form of an interview with teachers in various nursery schools, are processed
