SPECIFICS OF SOME CZECH OIKONYMS

The bachelor's thesis deals with some of Czech and Moravian place names. In terms of material, the thesis is based on the author's subcorpus of oikonyms. These oikonyms are somewhat specific (e.g. in that they seem to sound expressive). The thesis aims to describe such place names which are unconventional and unusual in terms of language, including the etymologic roots of their semantics. Additional focus was placed on what motivation had prevailed in the creation of these oikonyms
