The thesis is focused on treating of climate archives from arctic tundra. Namely, annual increments of dwarf shrubs (Juniperus communis) and their cell parameters. The methodology to exploit those archives from the places where instrumental meteorological record is short is still insufficient. The field works took place in Kobbefjord, south-west coast of Greenland. The samples were subsequently elaborated into permanent thin sections and the photographs were taken with 100x magnification.
