The distribution of the magnetic flux density near a cook-top appliance is investigated. The current density induced inside a cylindrical phantom is also evaluated in order to verify the compliance with the exposure limits in force. The computations are performed using two different strategies based respectively on the Finite Element Method and the Boundary Element Method. A comparison between the two different methods is also proposed and discussed
