In this study our goal is to put together an overview of how the Swedish regional libraries view and work with Video games. We have chosen 5 analytic themes that were constructed by Olle Bergand and Thomas Nyström in their work that was published in 2008. These themes are as followed; Culture, User Orientation, Entertainment, Learning and Social Aspects. With these 5 themes we created an inquiry of questions related to the different parts of subjects. Our questions oversee several areas within our subject, such as competence about Video games and whether the librarians and the staff deem they have enough knowledge surrounding Video games as more than just a type of media.
