Introduction: Achilles tendinopathy can be a chronic disabling condition. Sclerosing injections under ultrasonographic guidance is one method to treat Achilles tendinopathy. Initially good results have later been questioned. Surgery is another treatment option that has been questioned because of varying reported success rate. Aim: We aimed to assess patient- reported outcome in patients suffering from Achilles tendinopathy, treated with sclerosing injections and/or surgery during a 6 ½ year- period. Method: After review of patient records, the Self-reported foot and ankle score (SEFAS) together with an in-house satisfaction questionnaire were mailed to the patients.
