This text aims to present a reflection on the literature, definitions of which has been the subject, and it looks to see the relationship of this to language, with writing and reading, and finally offers a few comments about the teaching of literature.Se presenta una reflexión sobre la literatura, las definiciones de las cuales ha sido objeto, así mismo se analiza la relación de ésta con el lenguaje, la escritura y la lectura; finalmente, se ofrecen algunos comentarios acerca de la docencia de la literatura
