This research examined how a small mammal species, known as Antechinus, responded to planned burning in a dry Victorian forest. Burning primarily affected Antechinus indirectly, through changes to resources used for shelter, denning and food, such as large trees and logs. These findings provide valuable insights for ecosystem management
