This paddock has been hard grazed and is still in fair condition without a static water build up. The next paddock is grazed in conjunction with the paddock over the river, on the left but it has a vast waterlogging problem and remains mostly ungrazed due to the release of ethylene gases. This site has a barrier adjoining the river which holds back a vast store of water in a sump. A perforated pipe drain should lower the water table, and the Interceptor bank will control the recharge.
