Glasses, minerals and tiny inclusions as melting products of a xenolite have been analyzed with molecular microprobe and electron microprobe. These methods allow to characterize glasses without inclusion and glasses with crystalline inclusions smaller than a micron. Numerous glasses without inclusions exhibit flat and featureless Raman spectra. At the opposite, others exhibit broad bands which are well known in spectra obtained by conventionnal Raman spectrometry. The rhyolitic and mafic glasses contain tiny inclusions : the spectra exhibit peaks, the high intensity of which emphasizes the great number of microcrystals and their homogeneous distribution.
