The 2014 Fall season has been punctuated by periods of nationalist fervor. Following the interruption of violence in Gaza, the debates surrounding the creation of a Palestinian state have reappeared. The Scottish referendum and the Catalan consultation – granting that these two nationalist experiences are much less dramatic than the Palestinian experience – have also made the headlines. The time is thus suitable for reflecting once again on Quebec nationalism.
