The aim of the study is to know about the various help features offered in IR Interface of E-journal database systems and also taking feedback from the users regarding use and non-use of those help features in their search related activities. Qualitative feedback also taken from the respondents related to the reasons about not using help mechanism functionality offered in the IR interface of E-journal Database systems. Total 305 respondents participated in the study. The study employs a checklist method and questionnaire method for collecting of information. For qualitative data interview method was preferred.
