Reproduction of the Bull Shark, Carcharhinus leu cas , in the Lake Nicaragua-Rio San Juan System

Carcharhinus leucas, the bull shark, or cub shark, is a member of a large family, the Carcharhinidae, sometimes called requiem sharks. It is of medium size, reaching a maximum of a little more than three meters in some parts of its range, but little more than two and one-half meters in my study area. It is euryhaline, able to live for extended periods of time in both freshwater and marine environments.
