Formaldehyde is the main indoor gaseous pollutant: the main issues are find a practicable way to remove it from indoors, as find an efficient method to test the photocatalytic materials, because another key problem about HCHO is its monitoring, mostly at low concentrations. As TiO2 photocatalysis is a promising technology for VOC\u2019s abatement, we studied the performance of nano- and micro- commercial powders of TiO2, monitoring HCHO by the PTR-ToF-MS, whose skills were never exploited for photocatalytic tests, detecting low HCHO concentrations in real time.
