This paper deals with a synchronic etymological analysis of both the epithets \u2018\u3bc\u3ac\u3c7\u3b7 \u3ba\u3c5\u3b4\u3b9\u3ac\u3bd\u3b5\u3b9\u3c1\u3b1\u2019 and \u2018\u3c6\u3b8\u3b9\u3c3\u3af\u3bc\u3b2\u3c1\u3bf\u3c4\u3bf\u3c2\u2019. In the first part, I analyse the term \u2018\u3ba\u3c5\u3b4\u3b9\u3ac\u3bd\u3b5\u3b9\u3c1\u3b1\u2019. From a semantic perspective, this term cannot be interpreted as a possessive compound whose FM follows the Caland\u2019s law, an observation that opens up other issues, which I tackle in my study. My hypothesis is that \u2018\u3ba\u3c5\u3b4\u3b9\u3ac\u3bd\u3b5\u3b9\u3c1\u3b1\u2019 was probably formed by analogy on the example of other compounds which show \ub0\u3ac\u3bd\u3b5\u3b9\u3c1\u3b1 as SM.
