We measure the mass difference, \u394m0, between the D 17(2010)+ and the D0 and the natural linewidth, \u393, of the transition D 17(2010)+\u2192D0\u3c0+. The data were recorded with the BABAR detector at center-of-mass energies at and near the \u3a5(4S) resonance, and correspond to an integrated luminosity of approximately 477\u2009\u2009fb 121. The D0 is reconstructed in the decay modes D0\u2192K 12\u3c0+ and D0\u2192K 12\u3c0+\u3c0 12\u3c0+. For the decay mode D0\u2192K 12\u3c0+ we obtain \u393=(83.4\ub11.7\ub11.5)\u2009\u2009keV and \u394m0=(145425.6\ub10.6\ub11.8)\u2009\u2009keV, where the quoted errors are statistical and systematic, respectively. For the D0\u2192K 12\u3c0+\u3c0 12\u3c0+ mode we obtain \u393=(83.2\ub11.5\ub12.6)\u2009...
