Background: Endoscopy is of pivotal importance in Crohn's disease (CD) patients for diagnosis, surveillance and assessment of disease activity and extent. Device-assisted enteroscopy (DAE) and small-bowel capsule endoscopy (SBCE) have recently changed our endoscopic approach to small-bowel imaging.
