Objective: This study investigated translucency differences in three all-ceramic systems fabricated to clinically appropriate core thicknesses. Methods: Presintered disk specimens were cut to obtain 3 groups from the following high-strength materials: In-Ceram YZ -Vita Zahnfabrik (YZ), In-Ceram AL -Vita Zahnfabrik (AL) and Cercon \u2013 Dentsply Int.(CE). Slices of three different thicknesses, obtained taking into account the shrinkage of the sinterization process, were assigned to each ceramic group: 0.3 (T1), 0.5 (T2) and 0.8 (T3) mm.
