A spectral warping network modifies a signal in such a way that the frequency spectrum is stretched or compressed from the original. It is shown that warping affects both the duration and amplitude of signals in a frequency dependent manner. Results are verified through software simulations. An ASIC implementation of spectral warping is proposed
