More extensive and precise results are reported on the parameters of Z decay. On the basis of 20 000 Z decays collected with the ALEPH detector at LEP we find Mz=91.182\ub10.026 (exp.) \ub10.030 (beam) GeV, \u393z=2.541\ub10.056 GeV and \u3c3had0=41.4\ub10.8 nb. The partial widths for the hadronic and leptonic channels are \u393had=1804\ub144 MeV, \u393e+e 12=82.1\ub13.4 MeV, \u393\u3bc+\u3bc 12=87.9\ub16.0 MeV and \u393\u3c4+\u3c4 12=86.1\ub15.6 MeV, in good agreement with the standard model. On the basis of the average leptonic width \u393\u2113+\u2113 12=83.9\ub12.2 MeV, the effective weak mixing angle is found to be sin2\u3b8w(Mz)=0.231\ub10.008.
