The book provides an introductory discussion of antitrust damages, mainly from a European perspective. Written by economists, it provides an integrated discussion of the major economic and legal issues, while avoiding formal analysis throughout. After an introductory review of antitrust damages, the second section of the book discusses how proof of damages may be constructed in cartels and abusive behaviour cases. Passing-on issues are discussed in the light of the relevant rulings of the European Court of Justice, and of the decisions of several civil courts in EU countries.
