Aim of the study was to explore the features of the fixation chains between the upper limbs during abduction-adduction of one arm on the horizontal plane. Six experimental subjects seated on a stool with both arms flexed to horizontal and directed forward, elbows fully extended. Hand palms faced the midsagittal plane. Subjects performed series of impulsive adduction or abduction of the right arm in the horizontal plane, while the left hand touched a firm vertical support with its palmar or dorsal face.
