Möjligheter och hinder för barns inflytande i förskolan : En studie om förskollärares perspektiv kring barns inflytande

The purpose of this study is to provide knowledge about preschool teachers´ perspective on children´s influence in preschool. The method for the study was qualitative interviews with six active preschool teachers. The result showed that there are opportunities and obstacles to children´s influence. Opportunities are lifted as responsive and present educators who maintain an open climate between colleagues and children to create a safe environment, where children are given the opportunity to influence. Obstacles to children´s influence are lifted mainly as rules, routines and stress. The result also shows the age and sex of children as possible factors for enabling and preventing children´s influence in the preschool. Through this study, some reflections on children´s real influence and possible ways of working are also highlighted in order to make visible the consensus and approach in the work team.
