The most sustainable way to incorporate self-driving vehicles into our transportation system is to combine them with high capacity public transport. Unlike other forms of self-driving vehicles, in recent years self-driving shuttles have been tested to provide shorter transportation services. In a near future these shuttles could serve as feeders to and from stations, which will increase accessibility to public transport for more people.
