Volunteer management at international events is an important topic to research. The Rugby World Cup 2011 (RWC2011) has been chosen as a typical case to study. RWC 2011 was the biggest sporting event in New Zealand until now, and held in different regions in New Zealand. This report collects a large amount of information about volunteer management: volunteer recruitment, volunteer training, volunteer motivation and satisfaction, and volunteer recognition, as well as specific measures from these four aspects of RWC 2011.
