Práce se zabývá optimalizací hypertermické léčby nádorových onemocnění pomocí superparamagnetických nanočástic. Superparamagnetické nanočástice ve formě koloidního roztoku umístěné v nádorové tkáni a vystavené střídavému magnetickému poli generují teplo v důsledku periodicky se opakujících změn magnetického pole, což následně způsobí ohřev nanočástic i jejich blízkého okolí. Tímto způsobem je rychleji dosažen požadovaný teplotní interval, ve kterém dochází k biologickým jevům vedoucím k redukci nádoru, a zároveň je docíleno více selektivního ohřevu.
