Summary Background: Urinary incontinence is a condition in which the patient experience involuntary leakage of urine. It is a significant global health issue which annually affect millions of people. However, statistics on prevalence and epidemiology on the condition is limited, which might be as the condition is considered stigmatizing in many populations. Aim: The aim of this empirical study was to describe the nurse’s role in the care of females with urinary incontinence. Method: A qualitative study with semi-structured interviews was the most appropriate method to use.
