ANALISA PERSEPSI MASYARAKAT PANCENG TERHADAP KEBERADAAN PERBANKAN SYARIAH (DI KABUPATEN GRESIK)

Islamic banks as new financial institutions that emerge more recently in their operations will face problems that are also a challenge for Islamic banks. in an effort to succeed in its noble task of alleviating poverty this requires precise projections and accurate maps of the people's economic potential. The variety of perceptions, attitudes and behavior of the community towards Sharia Banks, among others, is caused by the low level of understanding of the community towards Islamic Banks, especially due to the domination of Conventional Banks. In addition, the prevailing laws and regulations have not fully accommodated the operations of Sharia Banks, the Sharia Bank service network is still limited as well as the limited human resources and Islamic banking technology. This research is a field research, namely research conducted in the field, this research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to the panceng community with 95 respondents using cluster sampling technique (area sampling), the data analysis used was quantitative descriptive analysis. That is analyzing the data that researchers have obtained in the field through questionnaires and then processed and processed so that a conclusion from the results of the study is obtained. The results obtained from this study indicate that in the cognitive, affective, and conative aspects of the results of the validity test obtained r-table is greater compared to r-count (0.1698) so that it is declared valid.
