With the recent rise of campaigns such as Me too, Everyday Sexism and Times Up, we are seeing the rise of a no excuse attitude to sexual assault and rape. Men and Women are coming forward to reclaim back their previously oppressed position. Through a comparison between Sarah Kane’s Blasted and the practical element of this study, an exploration of the many problems faced by women in modern day society will be entailed.
